Just like Steve Nash, we’re licking our lips in anticipation for the start of the NBA Season!

In their first Pre-Season matchup, the Los Angeles Lakers travelled north to take on the Golden State Warriors in Fresno. The match is especially significant because it was the first time that Steve Nash wore the Purp & Gold.

After a great start to the Lakers, the Warriors ran over the top of their Pacific Division rivals with a 37-10 3rd Quarter to win the game 110-83.

David Lee was the games top scorer with 19, followed closely by second year sensation Klay Thompson with 18. Kobe Bryant, Metta World Peace & Jordan Hill top scored for the Lakers with 10.

The game was also the first one broadcasted by the Lakers new TV Partners Time Warner Cable.
