Kyrie Irving and Brandon Knight delivered the most entertaining stretch of the BBVA Rising Stars Challenge last night.
In the second half Kyrie went after Knight in a battle of the point guards as Team Chuck beat Team Shaq 163-135.
In 27 minutes Irving poured in 32 points, the best two of the night, his step back jumper right in Knight’s face as he tumbled to the floor.
To Knight’s credit he accepted the challenge and dropped a 3-pointer in Irving’s face on the other end but Kyrie’s display of dribbling like Uncle Drew will be the best memory of the game.
Tom spoke to Brandon Knight post game about the battle with Irving which he seemed to enjoy:
It was fun I mean stuff like that happens throughout the game, it ended up being fun and my team won so that’s what i’m happy about,” Knight said.
