Bulls celebrate their Game 1 victory in style
Yesterday, the Bulls pulled off one of the biggest upset wins of the Playoffs so far this season. The undermanned Chicago team with injuries to key players including Derrick Rose & Kirk Hinrich pulled off a surprise 93-86 away victory in game 1 of their Conference Semi Finals series against the defending champions Miami Heat off the back of & a superhuman performance by 5’9 guard Nate Robinson (27pts, 9asts).
Of course, after a win like this, most teams would declare “on to the next one” then have a night in before an early morning of recovery, video & then drills to ensure that they can have a repeat performance in a couple of days time.
Not this Chicago Bulls…
It was off to the South Beach nightlife for some of the guys – Rip Hamilton, Vladamir Radmanovic, Nazr Mohammed, Taj Gibson & co champagned & campaigned in style with none other than Lil Wayne!
Classic Weezy move considering the former Miami Heat superfan’s dislike of Dwyane Wade & LeBron ignoring him courtside during times throughout the last few seasons. Add to this, he was kicked out of American Airlines earlier on this season for supporting the visiting the Los Angeles Lakers…
To add insult to the wounds that i’m sure the Heat don’t really want to hear or even feel, at a concert in February, he told the audience to yell out F*** NBA, Miami Heat, LeBron, Wade & then ended the rant by claiming that he had engaged in coitus with Chris Bosh’s wife.
So I guess, it was to be expected that Lil Wayne would become a Bulls Bandwagon jumper!
I look forward to seeing Lil Wayne courtside at the United Center in Game 3 & 4.
In addition to this, it should be noted that Vladamir Radmanovic is now leading the Nightclub Flat Brim Power Rankings by sporting that old school red Bulls cap.
